Hi,
I am following the instructions to upgrade the firmware on our Biosemi receiver to enable it to work with a new Windows 10 PC.
I followed the instructions very closely:
- I have uninstalled the old driver on the Old PC* (as it was listed in Device Manager as Biosemi USB -> Receiver)
- I have installed the newer driver on the Old PC (and confirmed it is listed in Device Manager as MS WinUsb2 Driver...)
- I have attempted to run the firmware upgrade (from programmer-usbv40 zip file)
However at this point I get the error message: No USB-Receiver found
Is there anything else I can do to get plug and play working on the new Windows 10 PC.
NOTE: (*) The Old PC is running Windows 7 32 bit
Gavin

Re: Firmware Upgrade not working
Check with ActiView and an ActiveTwo system whether acquisition on the old W7 PC is possible (probably not). If not, then the USB driver is not properly installed. Make sure you install the proper (32 or 64 bit) version.
You can always sent the USB-receiver to BioSemi for a (free) firmware upgrade
Best regards, Coen (Biosemi)
