Hi
I have two USB receivers adapted to be used with the Jazz-Novo. One of them is the USB receiver USB-1-Mk2 while the other is the USB3 version.
In order to send the triggers to the USB box through the parallel port, in our lab we use a special homemade box that is, basically, a parallel-to-usb converter. Despite everything works perfectly with the USB-1-Mk2, when I use the other USB receiver it doesn't recognize the USB.
Do you know if there are differences between USB-1-Mk2 and USB3 receivers? For example, is the firmware different? Where can I find a datasheet or a manual of the two receivers?
Thanks
Davide

The USB section of both receivers is exactly the same. What exactly does not work ? Acquisition, Jazz, trigger port on receiver, or you own USB-to-parralel interface ?

We have performed more tests on it. The USB receiver doesn't have a clock in the trigger port, that we use (of course) in our interface.

Please sent the receiver for a firmware upgrade (which will add the sample clock on pin 32)
