Trigger Button Labeling

We are trying to insert event markers during the recording. We have been using the Function keys (1-8). No matter what display we choose in the monopolar tab (analog, decimal, etc.) it still only shows up as colored lines in the BDF Reader. Is there any way to convert the Function Keys (possibly in the read me file) to your own custom labeling (naming), so they don't show up as simply colored lines in the BDF Reader?

Connect pin 9-16 to pin 37 at the trigger port of the USB reciever. The F1-F8 key presses will then show up as trigger lines 9-16.
