Segmentation

Hi all!
I'm doing a college project with the EEG.
In brain vision analyser, when i go to segment...it seems to modify the number of stimulus.
For example there is 1024 stimulus used in the project and recorded in the raw data...when segmenting it may create 1029 segments!
I can't figure out why this is happening. has anyone seen this before???
