hello! I have some problems when using the bipolar of ActView. Firstly, what is the EX5 vs EX6? That means the data of EX5 when its reference is EX6?
Secondly, how to save the bipolar data? The .BDF file from ActView only has the data of signal channel,EX1-EX8, there isn't the data EX5 vs EX6.
How to save bipolar data?

Re: How to save bipolar data?
ActiView only saves unreferenced data. You will have to calculate bipolar leads (e.g. EX5-EX6, EX5 referenced to EX6) in you off-line analyzing software.

Thank you for your reply! EX5-EX6 means the difference between EX5 and EX6,that's right? If I want to get EMG using Biosemi, do we need to place two active electrodes in the measured muscle because EMG signals are typically recorded from a bipolar pair of electrodes placed over the muscle group of interest.

Yes to both above questions.

Thank for your reply! So if I place two active electrodes(eg.EX5,EX6) in the measured muscle, EMG signal of the muscle is the difference between EX5 and EX6,EX5-EX6。That is right?
