ignoiring channels while recording

Is there a way we can just record the channels we want to record? For instance, our cap has spots for 26 electrodes, but we use a ribbon of 32 electrodes. Is there a way for actiview to ignore these unconnected channels?

Display the wanted channel selection in the monopolar chart (use the "free choice" option), then select the "save as monopolar displayed" option in the file dialog.
